Fort Wayne Fire Department On-Scene Channel

Once in a while I'll hear the Fort Wayne Fire Department incident commander at a fire scene tell all personnel to switch to "Onsite 6". At that point I can't monitor anything on any of the FWFD TGs.

I also heard the City Communications fire dispatcher tell the incident commander that he didn't have the capability to monitor the Onsite 6 channel. It sounds like it's some kind of digital simplex channel that doesn't hit the city's TRS repeater.

This channel is a mystery. I've been trying for nearly a year to find this elusive channel without success. If anyone has any information pertaining to this I would really appreciate it. As a photojournalist I depend on being able to monitor fire scene communications.
