FWFD successfully moved over to the digital system at 9:00 AM this morning. FYI..................
Having a problem hearing FWFD in Bedford on my Pro-106. Haven't had time to work out the programming yet, getting very low signal strength on control channel.
Hey Tech, it looks like they have. There is an entry in the DB for them.

It's best to use a Discone antenna with scanners.
MFJ MFJ-1868 | 25-1300MHZ DISCONE ANT W CABLE AND MT
DIAMOND D-220 | MOBILE MINI-DISCONE PL259 CONNECTOR
Comet-NCG DS-150S | DISCONE ANTENNA 25MHZ-1.3gHZ W 60 FT RG-58A/U
Not in this case. We're in between several simulcast sites, about equal distance. An Omni isn't going to allow you to favor one site over another, which is what needs to happen to keep the scanner from getting confused from several signals coming in at close to the same, but not exactly the same time.

So lockout those freqs or prog the scanner to only use one site. That's what I do with Unitrunker.
Have you by any chance tried one of the x36-series scanners? They work amazingly well on the simulcast systems in the Houston area.
Yes, they are not so amazing in this area.
That sucks...but I guess you know that.
Which really intrigues me. I wonder what is so different between the systems?
It's simulcast, meaning the same frequencies are used at more than one site.
You can't tell by looking at the database but sites 1, 2, 3 and 4 are actually simulcast from several locations. They used to be different systems.Am I missing something?
