Just a heads up for those who monitor Fort Worth FD, I was informed on Friday that as of today, Saturday December 07, 2019 Fort Worth Fire Department has reportedly added one new battalion district and is now reportedly operating 7 battalion districts. Portions of Battalion 2 have reportedly been redistricted to Battalion 7 now from what I was told, so I am assuming the new district is somewhere near Downtown or just outside. I do not know where the Battalion 7 chief is being stationed out of.
I am curious to see the new battalion district map, if anyone has seen it, feel free to post it.
