Fortis BC

Can anyone tell me if the callsign "JM-185" is a typical Fortis BS radio name ID on this NXDN system? Picking up some weak-ish NXDN voice channels in the 166 Mhz band and was wondering if they're the voice channels for those Capital region sites.

They don't use call signs if I recall correctly. I listen extensively to try and figure out system. You might be hearing Saltspring Island on 166.56
Did you hear JM or see it on a program ?

Well if I could actually listen to it I would -- but the audio is choppy at best. The RF is pretty good but decoding is another story. I do randomly get strong signals versus weaker signals. I use an Airspy with DSD+
