Forum categories for types of digital protocols

Has any thought been put into creating a specific category for each type of digital protocol such as a P25 Forum, DMR Forum, NXDN Forum, D-Star, Fuzion, etc? It doesn't seem like there's a good place to start conversations about a specific protocol when being independent of a type of radio since most protocols can be used across several brands of radios.
