Forums for GMRS, FRS, and MURS?

Has this site considered forums for GMRS, FRS, and MURS?

Like Lou told me, when I asked for a CB forum, this site is really dedicated towards MONITORING, so there isn't any actual radio/transmitting forums. It would be cool though, wouldn't it?

Hum...when you think about it, doesn't everything we monitor, involve transmitting, and receiving? GMRS is used for MEP (Michigan Emergency Patrol), which monitors conditions on our expressways, reports accidents, etc. FRS has even been used in emergency rescue efforts. Both are very common in search, and rescue efforts in ski resorts, and forest enviorments. Something to think about. :wink:

Yes, but from this site's standpoint, those are no different than any other monitoring. RR should only touch on the transmitting side of things to the extent of how it affects receiving such transmissions. I am well aware that sometimes topics get started down the wrong paths, but ... well what are you to do?
