The guy is letting me have for the price of shipping $11. The power cord is built in AC. no ant. I got the manual off the net. I also have a program off the net, all I do is enter the freq. and it shows what lever to set. He said it works fine.

Ah, yes, the 101. I sold those with the Radio Shack label on them (~$300 back in 1978)

The CPI inflation calculator says that would be $990 in 2010 dollars. No wonder I couldn't afford one!

Got the scanner today, it is awesome.(for an old scanner) Progamming is easy, takes me back in time.
Keep them old scanners alive.

Bc 200xlt

I have a BC 200XLT. I'm listen to it right now. The only problem with it if I unplug it from the wall it dies on me. My other scanner is a BC 246T, I can't figure that thing out for the life of me. I got the BC 200XLT from a friend who said it didn't work I paid $ 5.00 for it.

I have my original 101 that I got for Christmas in 1975 at age 13 ..... Still works!! Good memories.
