Anyone know who these frequencies belong to? Once again, hearing them in Sacramento.

463.3 PL 141.3
153.77 PL 123.0
161.265 PL 94.8
155.25 PL 74.4

460.125 PL 186.2

Also, heard what appears to be a simulcast (maybe a repeater input??) of El Dorado SO. Came in very strong down here.:
465.1875 using both PL 123.0 and PL 110.9 (probably just different towers)

158.730 is Stanislaus county Sheriff. If you were listening last couple of hours you would've caught a very interesting OIS complete with SWAT and air support. Guy firing a rifle in the middle of the street.

465.1875 is a UHF link used by El Dorado SO. There are five of the 465 MHz channels that rebroadcast the repeater input to each of the five transmitter sites. The PL determines which transmitter keys up. The links also facilitate a receiver voting system. Very effective system for such a rural and mountainous region.

154.650 is probably Auburn PD.

460.125 is San Joaquin SO dispatch.

153.770 is a very common fire frequency so hard to narrow down. most likely Sutter Co fire or Stanislaus County fire.


BTW GOOD JOB TODAY (or yesterday) BILL!! one bad guy down a zillion to go.

D'oh. I had the San Joaquin one figured out, but posted it anyways. Thanks. I did a lot of searching on other sites, and was able to peg agencies as users of a frequency, but the tones is where I couldn't go 100% to make sure I had the right agency.

Can anyone confirm the Auburn PD?

458.4375 - my best guess...City of folsom some type of public works. folsom pd and fd are on the county trs.

463.300 - business, closest licensee is longorio communications, probably a LTR system-who knows who uses it.

161.265 is placer county SO- info channel (records, etc.)

155.250 beats me...Two best guesses would be contra costa county or more likely lake county...not sure.

I am still not sure about auburn pd. The pl I see them using is 107.2. I am almost positive they don't have two transmitters due to the small size of Auburn.

Folsom has Public Works TGs on the County TRS. I don't listen to them, so I don't know if they use them or not.

All of the freqs had public safety traffic on them, didn't hear any business at all. And all the transmissions were conventional, no trunked. I could hear both sides of all the transmissions.

I had 161.265 listed for Placer County, but hadn't seen any PL tones like that one listed for them, so couldn't determine it was them.

153.77 PL 123.0 is Stanislaus County Fire Primary dispatch. (Secondary is 154.43 same PL, Tac is 153.89, same PL)

I have a mag mount on top of a metal fan. It's got an Antennex scanner antenna attached to either my Pro-96 or BC785D (but usually my -96). I'm on a second floor apartment, but the antenna is inside the apartment.

If so, probably is County of Sacramento.

If you hear voices (don't we all) most likely is maintenance or something similar down at the capitol.

I was told by a lurker that the 453 freq belongs to a private security company that does security for the Capitol.

Probably the same rag tag security group that allowed the big rig driver to crash into the capitol a few years ago...didn't see that one coming did they?

All I hear on that freq from up here in Placerville is some kind of telepathy or telegraghy or telemetry...full time data whatever it is.

However, the maintenance crew for the Capitol runs on 453.xxx, I forget the exact frequency, but it's one of the MANY frequencies El Do county has licensed to it but doesn't use. Oddly enough, the 465 MHz freqs you discovered as the link frequencies for the El Do system have not had their license renewed in over 3 years!! I know the freq is listed to Placer County, and is in the DB as West Info. Can anyone confirm that the 94.8 is the correct tone?? I haven't found any other tones, and there doesn't seem to be any other possible user up here. Only got it once, so I can't go keep checking on it.

Sierra SO has PL 173.5, which according to everything I can find is impossible. Should it be 173.8?

Last, but not least, there's a few counties in the valley that have no tone information listed, although probably every one of them uses them. If you can either fill out the info already there, or have any of these, I'd appreciate it.

186.2 is PL for San Joaquin (all channels)

What EDSO freqs don't you have PL for? The only repeaters you should be able to hear are EDSO West Slope Main channel (I call it main, I don't know what everyone else calls it), and "Ch 2", and possibly "Sierra" (covers from East of Pollock Pines to Echo Summit), almost never active. Both the main and CH2 should have pl of 136.5.

I'll check on these others for you in the next couple of days. Should be able to hear most of them, except I think I am hearing both Plumas SO and Turlock PD (on same freq) (got two very different signal readings) so I'll hafta figure that one out.

Can you actually hear Fresno SO?? If so, I'll move in next door to ya. I can only barely hear some of their freqs. PL is 156.7 BTW.

Nope. Can't hear Fresno. But, if I go on a trip, I want to have the right tones. As for EDSO, I haven't confirmed anything for the east slope. Just have what I've seen written down.

Turlock is 800 trunked, so you shouldn't confuse them with Plumas.

Just found another one. 155.76 PL 156.7 Any possibility this is Nevada SO East, instead of PL 141.3

Also, FYI-Plumas uses 156.09. Lincoln PD also uses that (with DPL 466). I would guess that's who you're hearing instead of Turlock. You might get a false PL of 67.0 in search mode.

Who in their right mind would make a trip to Fresno?

For EDSO, you have at least a couple freqs listed incorrectly.

First Tahoe and East are backwards... Sierra or East is 159.600 (you have listed as 156MHz) and Tahoe is the other one.

SAR and TAC are now generally the same...CH2..159.690

160.695 is now a TAC simplex freq (aka channel 3) (VERY RARELY used)

Ya Ok ya got me on the the Turlock thing....just making sure you paying attention...No I forgot they invested millions in their 4 (or was it 5) channel MOT II system...All for the 25 citizens of Turlock.
