this is one way to sell digital scanners tell them analog wont work no more. before i bought my mom a scanner guy at radio shack was telling me to go digital as analog wouldn't work. told him he was wrong and it made him mad why do people think cause tv is going all digital that scanners are to dont they know why tv is going digital sorry for rambling

Oy. I clicked on the "report this guide" link but there was no option for reporting guides with incorrect information. I decided to send a message directly to the person who wrote it. We'll see what happens.

The amount of misinformation out there is astounding. For example, even with all those commercials that say that cable subscribers don't need to do anything for the digital switchover, a friend of mine ordered new digital cable boxes for every TV in his house because someone managed to convince him that his analog TVs will not work without them. :roll:
