Hi scanner listeners

I heard this on my BCT15 while searching this band of frequencies.

923.0000 - 928.0000 WFM 10 khz step

I know what it is, but it does get interesting sometimes.
Works with wfm (broadcast) too. But not NFM or FM, comes in distorted, not enough bandwidth.

This probably should have been posted in the Montana forum as they are the only ones close enough to hear what you are talking about...

What I'm hearing could be in another 900 mhz frequency range depending on where you live at as I did hear some of it lower down between 901.0000 - 915.0000 but not nearly as much as the other range. As to what I'm hearing, I'll leave that for you people to figure out, don't mean to be sarcastic but it doesn't take to many brains to figure it out. There are a lot of digital signals and weird sounds but there is a lot of analog too.

Yor right and wrong about digital signals

Its all analog signals as the BCT 15 wont receive and process digital signals.

Your right about all signals being analog as they they have to be analog to be transmitted by the transmitter but digital signals can be picked up by any scanner technically but only digital scanners can process a digital signal as long as it has the right programming to decode it.

I dont ever tune around up in the 900s. However, I was bored in April, right before I moved to a new location. Did a search up there and lo and behold the neighbor mom was talking to her sister, and they were both online console gaming with each other and talking about it at the same time rofl. Definitely nice quality. So yeah, you'll find a few analog ones still in use.

And the BCT 15 is not a digital capable scanner. Sure they can be picked up but good luck decoding them......
