I work at MPFD and was there the day of the fire. We operate on 2 systems, the LTR for our normal operations, day to day activities and fire traffic on the reservation / casino complex. We also operate on the New London County low-band mutual aid system, our main tone out and truck responses are on 33.84, Station PQ. When we respond to Ledyard, North Stonington or where ever we are requested we sign on out low band radios then switch over to the mutual aid department's frequency.

As for the day of the fire back in january '08, I was told that the mutual aid officers in the command staff were issued our radios for communications and also members from our department teamed up with mutuail aid companies so that we all had some sor tof communications.
