apparently the 0 hits and 0/0/0000 stamp indicate affiliation only (no PTT)

so the group "exists" but it's not "active" per se.

i have never seen anything with Site 5 on my DSD+ history... meaning i don't see it as a neighbor or anything.

i have seen some data for site 9, but nothing worth publishing. I suspect the location (Florida City / Homestead) is accurate.

these are the sites that lack sufficient data:

LaBelle -- 027 should be under WPFN983
Flamingo - 001 should be under WPFN974

Site 9 / Homestead / Florida City = 009
South Dade - 085
Miami 2 - 145

For Site 1 and 27, the RR DB is updated with "neighbor site data" from DSD+, which is extremely helpful in getting the FCC license info...

This morning there was a brief band opening and was able to get Unitrunker up on the control channel 935.9000 for about 5 minutes.
This is the only info I was able to gather:

Site:159 NAC:09F Neighbor Site 147
Freqs - 935.9000 CC
936.5000
937.3875
937.4125
After looking over the FCC Database, the only location which seems to fit all of these freqs is Palataka Putnam county. However, according to the RR Database the Palataka site is already identified as Site 109 which also lists each of these freqs. Confused!!!

I suspect you found a license problem. Going off of the neighbor site being 147 (West Palm Beach) - I most certainly don't think this is a Palatka site.

09F hex = 159 decimal, which matches how the FPL system is laid out --- which means this is not some odd decode error on Unitrunker.

I believe you found a new site - but without FCC data to try to geo-locate it, it's most certainly difficult.

i'll take a listen as well, but I do believe this is an unmapped system in Broward or Dade county (for now anyway)

good work!

On Putnam County FPL I got those 3 sites back months and months ago when I was visiting that area. I know those are correct sites. So it is either Broward or Palm Beach Counties.......... I did a search on 935.9000 it came up with this info. Florida Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
We can rule out Davie Site 71/47. Boca Raton Site 83/53 doesn't have that freq listed on that system. Maybe it is Sunrise site? I did a search on the Alt Cntrl ch freqs did a search it is different areas not showing or matching sunrise (935.900) Do you remember what signal strength/color bar was on unitrunker? If like red it does give errors needs to be a good yellow or green to get info correct. In a few weeks I'll try Putnam County again see if there were any changes in a few weeks.

Signal quality was mostly in the red and perhaps could have been some errors that generated false data. Unfortunately, this was a band opening situation and as such can't get a signal under normal circumstances.

What county are you in? I use unitrunker for open bands for SLERS... Back on the topic I use DSDPlus for everything else from P25 to NXDN. Plus DSDPlus gives you more info like Site Neighbors etc..... On unitrunker if red chances are it does give out false info from freq to site info. If you get a open band again I would try to move the antenna if it is not lock down solid to something. Sometimes moving it a slight meter or inch it makes a difference :)

looking at this a bit closer....you could make a case that Unitrunker gave a false decode on the middle digit of Palatka (site 109/6D) - but.... the site 147 neighbor mucks that up a bit. It would not be unusual for another site 200 miles away to use the exact same frequencies.... I think we need a monitor down south to check/verify your logs and go from there.

Probably Davie, FL (Broward) - 20002 SW 26th St - FCC Callsign WPFN982 (Florida Power & Light Company)

I know the 147 neighbor doesn't make sense, but neither do any of the freqs other than the CC. And the Davie site on this callsign is different than 71.71 West Broward / Sunrise.

My guess is that Richard may have picked up Palatka 109 on 936.500 sometime before or after picking up 147 on 935.900. And Unitrunker was probably still retaining the info from 109 Palatka when he switched to 935.900 and picked up 147. So frequencies probably ended up getting jumbled together. No offense to Rick (UT author), but Unitrunker is really prone to this cross-site corruption when switching between control channels, especially when the signals are weak. Heck, even DSDPlus is prone to that (which is why it's always good to hit "d" in DSDPlus when tuning to a new CC so you get rid of all of the old information from the previous CC monitored).

So I suspect Richard did copy 147 Davie (Broward) on WPFN982 and freq 935.900. And that all of the rest of the freqs were from previously decoding 109 Palatka.

Heck it's possible that 109 Palatka is nwo using 935.900 as the control channel as well, and that one moment UT was copying Palatka and the next moment it was copying Davie. Of course, that would suggest that Richard is more likely somewhere in between those sites and not super close to either one.
