I've searched and searched but never have found the talkgroups for the Franklin County Jail. The only ones I have ever found were the "secondary" and "Backup" groups... CC1 B and C or CC2 B and C. Where are they hiding?

Thanks!

franklin county jail

maybe we need to send someone with a frequency counter in their. maybe ask about a inmate who is not their anymore. with the ohio prison web site on line it would not be hard to do. it least someone that knows their rubber duckies would see the antennas.

Try the Franklin county system instead of the columbus system. I think the city bought it and it is called the public service system while the columbus system is the public safety system.

I think they also use simplex on 853.4875. When you're near CC1, you can hear the control center on that channel. With the way the building was built, you may not hear the portables on the simplex frequency unless you're inside the building.

They only have their backup groups on the Franklin County system.

I was figuring since they had groups on the Franklin system, and had secondaries on the main FCCA system, that they would be using the trunked system for their primary comms. Since someone said that the simplex freq has traffic, perhaps they may use this for their primary.... unfortunate.
