Just to let everybody know the high band channel for parishwide fire will be used again in the near future for dispatch only. Then all comes will switch to the LWIN system. The frequency is 154.175 with a pl tone of 127.3.

Hi-band is up and running...
I frequent Franklin Parish for work quite often. What is the Parish Fire "rescue" channel for? I heard it for the first time last week but didn't get enough audio. It seemed like the dispatch channel had the majority of the incident traffic, but "rescue" was being used as well for the same incident.
