Subject: Re: digital on 154.800
Well after doing a bit of listening last night I believe I have narrowed
down who is on 154.800 using digital radios. Had a unit to check out at
a convenience store in "Hearne" which is Robertson county. Fcc search
reveals that Franklin is licensed to that freq, however that freq in the
past has been pretty much dead and very short range. Thats why I ruled
it out initially. The officer refers to the dipatcher as "county" but
since Franklin is the county seat this could be the case. Looks like the
one horse town of Franklin has some fancy equipment now!
BTW-Robertson county sheriff operates on 155.580 pl 141.3 and Hearne
operates on 156.240 pl 141.3 and both are still there.
Any case it'll take some more listening to confirm for sure but looks
like that who it is.
(ps-I'm not sure why I heard it better in Caldwell like I mentioned
earlier as compared to here in Bryan.)
