DOUGLAS COUNTY - A 10-year-old boy from Aurora was killed Thursday when his mother lost control of her car and it rolled.
The Colorado State Patrol says 39-year-old Natalie Jeffers was driving a black 1996 Nissan Maxima south on Colorado 83 Thursday when she drove off the right side of the road.
Authorities say Jeffers then drove back across the road and off the left side, rolling the Maxima.
Jeffers had serious injuries and was transported to Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs.
The passenger, 10-year-old Joshua Jeffers, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators do not believe speed was a factor, but alcohol is suspected.
