Sounds like Weld Co is upgrading sites tonight which requires taking them off the air. Tech at New Raymer now and another tech enrt to Grover. Standing-by for radio announcement to the rural fire agencies.
Adams County and Weld County switched over to a new radio system referred to as FRCC. If Weld or Adams county is your primary location and you do not plan to listen to other counties, you will want to update your system frequencies to the 9 system frequencies listed above plus any additional alternate control channels you might wish to add and remove any talkgroups for other counties. If Weld or Adams is not your primary listening location and you would like to add it as a new system to listen to, you will probably want to duplicate your existing DTRS system, rename it FRCC, remove non-Weld/non-Adams talkgroups and update the system frequencies. Personally, I have only the Weld Simulcast system control channel entered with its three alternate control channels. How do we put the FRCC's in the scanner? Can we still pick up FRCC? Do they go by CC's line numbers or just put in the CC no matter what order? I have all the CC's in my scanner that are in the DB for Weld County. I'm not familiar with FRCC.
