Free programming software for BC296D

I am looking for free software to program my BC296D. I know Butel has products, I used them for my PRO96, but budget is tight.

Any suggestions?

The only thing I know of is Control Freq V2. It's set up for the 250/785, so by extension, it should work with the 296. It's very old software, though, and I doubt Tracy is supporting it anymore. Personally I'd save up for ProScan or ARC250, but it's worth a try, in any case.
