This new beta is out and has beta DMR support. This will be good for 996 p2 and 325 p2 users.

Color Code and NAC Numbers

I downloaded the beta 2.19 and have been working with it for several hours.
Noticed that for color codes there is a NAC number in that field.
CC1 = 1001
CC2 = 1002
CC10 = 100A
Where do you get a listing of the color codes and the numbers that relate to them

If I had to guess, it just looks like "10" followed by the HEX representation of the color code....

1001 = 1
1002 = 2
.
.
.
1009 = 9
100A = 10
100B = 11
100C = 12
100D = 13
100E = 14
100F = 15

Thanks for quick response. Will have to give that a try when I get more DMR to program in.
Thanks again.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

error message

lucky43113,
I got the same error message.
After I uzipped the file. I put the Freescan.exe file in the root directory with all the other freescan files and then deleted the olf freescan.exe file. It worked after that with no problems.

I had this same issue all i did to resolve it was replace the Freescan.exe for this release and it worked
Basically rename the original Freescan.exe to something different and copy this exe to that folder and it should work, or at least it did for me

Search Color Code

How would we program in the NAC to tell it to search for the cc?

Here is a link I made for the 2.19. It somewhat supports DMR. There's no color codes support, if you download from RR DMR's show as Unknown.

He didn't make a full setup program you just use the .exe in the compressed folder and put in the existing freescan folder.

Yep unfortunately Assaf the author has more-less stopped doing anything with freecan. The forums are normally more down then up and even then doesn't get much usage.

Ron.

When I extract the ZIP, it asks for a password.

Care to share it?

Will this work as an upgrade to 2.05 on a 325P2 using XP?

There's no password, I even rechecked it by downloading it, as I expected since I did not password it in first place no prompt seen here.
In upper right at my link, click Download, then Direct download.

Here is a link that will download it upon clicking, only difference is last # is 1
