It sounds like you are trying to program talkgroups by just entering them directly.ok so you are saying that talkgroup is the same as dec and hex. So is there a listing for that on freescan?
Per the model tag on the thread, he's dealing with a 396XTNote that FreeScan doesn't support either the 436HP, 536HP, SDS100 or SDS200 scanners (if one of these is the one you are trying to program). This is a very common mistake. For these scanners, you need to use Sentinel. I didn't see which scanner you are using?
