FreeSCAN issue

I downloaded 2.11 loads and starts fine.
I did the download from scanner/comm setup auto/queue system list all selected
Freescan loads from scanner
I then go to tools/ optimizer
I see frequency sorting 88% efficient I select to auto sort. Now shows 100%
I then send back to scanner select all
I close Freescan
I open Freescan
I read from scanner same way and tools optimizer is 88%?
Shouldn't it be 100%?

I shouldn't have to save it, it was from scanner, optimized, back to scanner and then read again. What would saving it do other than put the file on my computer?

I think you have to save it in a file in Freescan and then re-open the file in order for Freescan to recognize the new changes.

Not sure what that helps, if you optimize the file, send it to the scanner then it should be in the scanner sorted right? Then if you read it back from the scanner shouldn't it come back sorted? I made no changes at all. Just a read sort send and read again. It seems the sort didn't take.
Tried saving to file, sending to scanner, still comes back 88%. That to me means it did not sort anything.

The sort did work. What happens is that when you sort it, the frequencies are 100% from the first system to the last system. When you upload it to the scanner and download it back, the systems are not always in the exact order, so it appears to be less than 100%. However, if you checked it you would still see each frequency in each group is still fully sorted.
