Open Freescan
Load your file

With your list visible in the left side of the computer screen,, click on
the system and then move to the right and click on the quick key down
arrow and you should see a list 1-99. Pick which one you want.
Do not click on a sub system, since you can only have 1-10 sub selections.

Aircraft < highlight this (1-99)
JFK < not this sub list (1-10 only)
Logan < not this sub list (1-10 only)

The program permits 1-99 fast keys but only 1-10 sub keys

A little confusing. Good luck

Since Group Quick Keys can only be 0-9, I 'assume' you mean System Quick Keys.

Understanding Quick Keys
There are 100 'System/Site/Search Quick Keys' (0-99) and 10 'Group Quick Keys' (0-9).
Easier to Read BCD396XT Digital Scanner Manual

You can however, have multiple groups with the same GQK. (Up to a limit of 20 groups)

For System Quick Keys, just select the one you want from the 'Drop Down Box'.

I also include the SQK as the first two digits of the System Name.
It helps me keep it straight.

Rich in the pic it shows quick key 62 in my freescan it only goes to 9. I need 17

That is the System Quick Key.

I suspect that you have it confused with Group Quick Keys that do only go up to 9.
They are set when you are looking at only one specific group withing a system.

This many clarify a little:
In this image, the System Quick Key is in green, the Group Quick Keys are in Blue

Thread moved to Scanner Programming Software forum since Freescan is not a Uniden product.
