PRESS RELEASE
Incident: Homicide
Location: 37800 blk Argyle Rd.
Date/Time: April 4, 2013 7:00 PM
At about 7:15 PM Thursday evening, Officers responded to a home on the 37800 blk of Argyle Rd. on the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers located a 73 yr old male lying on the floor of the kitchen in a puddle of blood. Officers also located a 28 yr old female in the bathroom of the home who, after a short struggle, was taken into custody. The male was pronounced dead a short time later at the hospital.
Preliminary investigation shows that the 28 yr old female, the daughter of victim, arrived at the home in violation of a restraining order. A violent argument ensued prompting the victim’s wife (mother of suspect, wife of victim) to call the police. It appears, at this point, that the victim died as a result of blunt trauma sustained during the altercation with daughter.
Police are not releasing the names of either the suspect or victim at this time.

I'd like a recording too. I live right behind that address. My volume was turned down so I missed the dispatch and most of the early action. Did catch the victim went 10-55 at 20:20. A detective knocked on our door to see if we heard anything. mibzzer are you near there? Maybe we know each other.

I live right near WHS. I only wanted to know because a buddy of mine asked if I had heard what was going on. I was in college class that night and didnt listen to my scanner. He told me that the female that showed up at the house was schizophrenic and drunk, and tried to "eat" her dad. I didn't know if it was a *bath salts* type of thing.
All I had heard was FPD asking for more CSI's and then later on the coroner being with the victim.
