Freq in zip mode

In zip code mode is there any way to see the freq when it stops on a transmission?

It sounds like you might be referring to the BCD536HP and it is set for the 3 line display, and you need to change it to the 5 line so you can see more info on screen. If that is indeed the case, then just press the button marked "Channel" to hold on a channel and then press "Function" and then the number 9, to switch to the 5 line display.
