Freq skip to OK

Hey guys- We just got a new repeater set up for the Fire Dept. here in Skiatook, OK. the input is 159.330, and when the ducting gets really good it picks up some Arkansas traffic your area from "Little Rock" to some unit that I couldnt make out. they use 10 codes some i am going to assume the agency is Law enforcement in nature. can anyone tell me who it is?

I beleive you are hearing the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission. They operate on that frequency. I did a search on that frequency in the state of Arkansas on the FCC Database and found numerous results. Check out the link, you may be closer than you think!

Thanks. I heard it again lastnight about 12:30 AM. They have our repeater set up so that it does the morse code-call sign thing after any radio traffic so it wakes everyone up! I think it is kinda funny but no one else thinks so.

Heard them again last night, loud and clear "Little Rock" was asking a unit if they needed assistance.
