CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME ON SETTING UP TALK GROUPS I AM GIVEN THE DEC AND THE HEX. WHICH ONES DO YOU USE IN THE GROUP ID'S? SETTING UP A MOTOROLA TYPE II WITH A BC246T. THANX FOR ANY HELP!

#1 tip for you: use the caps lock there buddy...not trying to flame you just trying to help you out....people are more apt to respond if it does not look like you are shouting...
#2: just use the Decimal Talkgroup IDs...the Hex are there just for the radio tech guys who actually use software to program 2 way radios....all Uniden/Radio Shack scanners use decimal numbers for Motorola system monitoring....
