Does anyone have the frequencies for comcast?

The 461.9500 frequency for Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania is definitely dead. I'm 95% sure the 464.6000 frequency for Stafford is off-the-air as well. Probably went to Nextel.

That was an interesting list. I noticed a lot of the old Adelphia areas (Culpeper, Lynchburg, Staunton) were on there. Did they transfer licenses to Comcast? I used to have a listing for them here locally, I'll see if I can find it on the other PC.

I run into those guys a lot at the cell site I have at their head end. I'll ask them if they still use radios, but I think are Nextel for the most part, and why not?

Back in fall of 2005 when I got my 796D I programmed a local analog TRS. Among the TGs was Adelphia. I found about four of them. After I ID'd them I heard them many evenings between 5 & 7, sometimes talking about jobs they were headed to or from. Other times it was just conservation. In the last year those consverations have dwindled.

The last time I heard anything was once during Christmas week. So it looks like in my area, along with the switch to Comcast was a switch to Nextel.

I know for a fact that when we were Adelphia (Hopewell, Petersburg, Ft. Lee) that it was all Nextel.

Maybe this is a little late posting but the Comcast bunch here in the Danville area use 463.825 and in the Altavista area its 463.775, both use the PL of 131.8. Equipment is Motorola, mostly older Maxar and a few micors. Hopefully they upgraded since I last peaked into one of their vehicles.

I hear a lot of cable TV/cable internet traffic in the Orange, Culpeper and Madison County areas on the Prince William Communications (Orange) LTR System. The TG is 01-09-032. Installation and service calls. Very Active. Not sure, but I believe it is Comcast.

They mention 29 quite a bit and it sounds like the office must be in Ch'ville.
I hear the same people now who were on during Adelphia. The Culpeper area is as far north has I have heard mentioned.

I've been told and the coverage map seems to support that Nextel does not cover Orange/Gordonsville/Madison area.

The Prince William Communications (Orange) LTR is an interesting system to listen to.
