I'm not sure I'm in the right forum or not but I have a problem I need help with. I'm in Illinois and if I go to the Database to look at it for DeWitt County, the frequencies are right. But if I try to download them with software, it gives me non working frequencies.

Which system in De Witt County? Please provide an example of the wrong frequencies. What software are you using?

I'd program it by hand or using a program instead of importing it. 159.325 141.3PL is Sheriff Dispatch, 155.43 is for FD/EMS paging, 151.1675 79.7 PL is FD/EMS response

What many people that are just starting out don't realize is that at the root county page you are only seeing the conventional frequencies. In many areas a good portion of the traffic has moved to trunking systems that may or may not be properly notated in the database. ALWAYS check the list of trunking systems at the bottom of the county page for appropriate systems if they are not listed with the county or communities.

If you are aware of (or become aware of) a trunked system use that is not properly notated submit that so it can be fixed in the database.

I read something a while back, but I don't remember where I saw it. It mentioned that DeWitt Co was experimenting with P25 on their own frequencies. To the OP, you may want to try to load the channels as P25 and see if that works.
