Hello, I was wondering if I was able to scan the frequencies used at the WEC Race that is happening today and tomorrow at COTA in Austin, TX. I was reading different threads, and I saw that they use encrypted frequencies, is that going to be an issue?

Yes, they can be scanned, but the frequencies can change between events: all the teams are MRTC NXDN9600 and unencrypted. Most teams are VHF, Toyota are UHF. The WEC Organisation use a UHF NXDN4800 trunked systemn which is scrambled. PM or email me for details.

Thanks for the reply. How can I get your email to give you specific details, such as the scanner, and antenna?
