Hello and thank you for reading my POST..
I am planning to take my 35 ft. motor home to Brialee Campground in Ashford, CT.
hope to stay there for 2 months...July 2009 to Sept. 2009.
I will certainly bring my Ham Radio gear, and several scanners as well...
I would appreciate a listing of PD,FD,EMS etc. freq's for that region..
Analog and digital ok...
I checked the RR database, but see nothing for Ashford, CT....yes...sourrounding areas tho..
Any help greatly appreciated..

You need to go to Tolland County Mutual Aid (Station TN) and I would put all the ones listed in. Some are repeaters for others. on the low band but if u have them all u can surrounding towns. certain towns use different frequencies but I dont have it memorized. most fire ems dispatch is 33.80 for tolland and windham county. u will get the pattern just listening a little while. The Connecticut State Police is Troop C. I will send u a list...

If u have a 396t I can send u the Arc 396 files. and I have a BC250D but I dont think the files from that will work on the 296d. If they do u can have that also... That will give u like 80 percent maybe 90 of what u need

Thank you for offering ARC files...I currently use the BC-296D and a RS Pro-96 for digital apco 25 scanning. I also have a BC-780xlt for non-digital comms. Being a Ham Radio Operator, I also have an IC-910, Kenwood TS-480HX, Yaesu ft-90R, Vx-6R HT, FT-50 HT, and an Icom IC-91AD HT.
All are capable for receiving purposes as well.
I would appreciate any files that you have...hopefully be able to gleen the frequencies and PL tones..manually.
Thank You Alec..again for your help.
Regards, Fred, Northford, CT 06472

I will check to see if the arc files will work on your Uniden Model. I have a 396D and 250D. Its old but still works better then new ones. I will get back to you this week.

Looks like The BC 250 and BC 296 use the same Arc files. I will send my whole scanner profile shortly to you. Only problem is I need to put town names in there for you. When you import conventional systems from Radio Reference you just get like police fire, ems. not town names. I will work on it... That will give you 80 percent of what u need

RE: Now Going to East Haddam...

The campground in Ashford allocated us a site...My wife and I took a ride up there to check it out...
The site was not large enough to accomodate our 35 ft. Motor Home...and they had nothing else to offer.
On our way back from Ashford, we stopped at Wolf's Den Campground,in East Haddam, got a great site near the pool and all the "good stuff"...
Sorry for the confusion..
Regards,
Fred
