When looking at frequencies for Jackson County Ga, you have your column that list your freq's and next to it a input freq,
Whats the differance?

The input frequency is used to transmit to the repeater. The repeater transmits on the output frequency. If you program the input freq you'll only hear one side of the conversation, and only if you're nearby. The output freq will give you both sides of the conversation. Therefore it is not necessary to program the input freq.

That's good to know. I was wondering myself. Thanks for posting the question and answer.
