When listening to MCSO (Maricopa County), I've heard the dispatcher tell the deputy to go to "Airs" or "Aires" or something like that. Its apparently some kind of mutual aid channel. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? Thx.

"AIRS is a suite of full-time, cross-banded mutual aid channels designed to provide
interoperable communications capability to first responders of police, fire, and Emergency
Medical Service agencies, as well as other personnel of municipal, county, state, tribal, federal agencies and approved non-governmental organizations (NGOs) performing public safety or public service activities."
