Been seeing these on ebay are they any good

Of course it's good.... it uses "Signal" wire instead of regular wire. These are better, though if you're into frequency dudes:

I thought if you used regular wire, the signal moves too fast for the antenna to catch it. "Signal wire" at the massive 18g size has a higher frequency terminal velocity, so catches fast moving high frequency scanner signals more better. Signal wire antennas are digital compatible, with a special helical copper secret(e) design to pull in those frequencies. At least, that is what eBay sellers claim.

That thing is hilarious. It would surely overcome any HOA restrictions with an added smiley face cute factor.
