I've ordered a BC396 handheld which uses a different file format than my BC796D. The 796D uses the *.MEM format. Anyone want to trade me your *.UASD file that you've already built for my *.MEM file. I used the Butel ARC Pro software to build my file which has some Memphis, as well as area stuff.
Send me a private email if interested and tell me how many frequencies you have. Just a general idea. Also, is anyone in the Memphis area using the Scantenna antenna that scannerwarehouse sells? It seems to get the most favorable reviews and when Memphis goes online, I want to put something on my roof with an antenna rotor.

I us a 396t and would be glad to send you my "Memphis Area" freq file. I also have a Scantenna I got from the same place. The problem I had was that it worked too well and overpowered my base units. I have two discones on my chimney that I use. I put my Scantenna in the attic on a floor mounted pole and have it pointed north-northwest. It works well in that alignment, but, as you know, if pointed other directions gets varying results. BTW, I live in Germantown.
