Wyoming County, NY, updated its system for fire/ems to hiband. I entered the new frequencies in both my BCT15X and BC346XT but cannot receive any transmissions. I also have an older Uniden 370CRS, did the same and receive the transmissions with no problems. I have a basic understanding of scanning and programming.

I would also initially program them without PL tones. It isn't uncommon for the PL to be either incorrect in the dB or for the PL to not be present on the output side of the repeater and only used on the input side.

Did you assign Quick Keys and not enable them?
Yes and enabled. The police, fire/ems and highway etc. are all part of the same system each being a separate group. I can receive transmissions from the police and highway.

Is it programmed as a conventional channel or a trunked system?

Do you have the correct step size programmed in the two that are not working? If not, it won't be on the correct frequency but would show that on the display.

Many of those are using 7.5 kHz steps on VHF. Your scanner has to match that (or use 2.5 kHz) so you can enter those frequencies. Is that the step size you are using?

I am not sure if I follow. There is a CTCSS menu with multiple choices of kHZ, but none matching 7.5. I don't see anything for setting steps.

I'm talking STEP SIZE, not CTCSS.

I don't have a 15 handy to tell you where that is located.

Given my ease of receiving transmissions on an older Uniden BC370CRS after just changing the frequency, I thought we were getting into areas above what I needed to do. So, noting the tone column next to the frequency started with a PL (police on the 15), I tried entering the frequency I was trying to get reception on into a channel that carried police transmissions instead of the fire/ems channel. It worked. Thank you for your time and suggestions anyway.
