Actually, if both aircraft are in range it is quite possible.... and listening to some of the off-the-wall discussions that take place on the "chat" freqs can be really entertaining.... Within range of the ground facilities it is possible to hear both sides as well...Can you even hear air to air communications from the ground?? -OG
