I'm noticing a ton of beaconing on the 167Mhz/169Mhz FBI frequencies labeled as Claypool, Fort Wayne, Warren, and Kendalville. I'm curious if anyone else is noticing beaconing on their local VHF FBI frequencies. The transmissions that I have decoded were showing a 167 NAC.

Could be several things, ARS registration when radios are turned on and off, vote scan beacon, radios could be OTARing, etc. The vote scan repeaters in the Carolinas are fairly active with data bursts for the above noted reasons and have been for several years now on the FBI and HSI nets here. A waterfall display on an SDR makes it fairly easy to spot what repeaters are networked if you haven't tried that yet.

I'm aware, and can see which ones are networked. I was asking if others in Indiana have noticed the same thing on their local FBI repeaters.
