I just recieved my new BC250D (w/card included) and want to know about auto loading freqs.

Is there a website that I can go to pick and choose OR just download FRESNO COUNTY freqs directly into the scanner. I know about Uniden's sight that emails you specific County freqs. for dowload into the scanner for a fee.

Just wanted to know if they were free via another site.....don't want to load each freq manually right now...that would be free of course.

Thanks,

While it's not the same thing, you can use the "web catcher" feature of the ARC software. It'll take a lot of the work out, but it's not perfect.

this site, freqofnature.com, is also very useful. It looks like it could probably use some help with updating if you get a chance though. I think we went thru this recently with another user, asking about trunking stuff too.

Thanks for the reply. I wanted something that I can load into E-scanner Software for download into the scanner.

Would that work with the info you provided?

GOOOOOOOOOOOGLE

google is one of the best places to find scanner frequencies. just type in fresno police frequencies, or fresno scanner frequencies and follow the links until you hit a good site.

this radioreference site is also good for frequencies. go to:

http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&ctid=192

to view trunked systems available in fresno county (there are also conventional freq's

go to:

http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&aid=995

to view CHP freq's - there is a fresno dispatch station
