Fresno City Police .... "CIO and a Code 10?"

Heard this one recently. Dispatcher asking an Officer if they wanted the CIO, and a possible "Code ten" at scene.

Any ideas on both? This is second time in last month or so heard reference to a "Code Ten", but first time heard refeference to a CIO with it.

Chief Information Officer (CIO)

and in many places in California, a Code 10 = Bomb/Bomb threat
