Fresno County Fire

So I was listening to this vegetation fire in the city of Laton. Batallion 67 and engine 269 I think were being dispatched on EMS Med 15. Nothing ever came up on District 1, 2 or 3. Am I missing something? I could only hear the dispatcher and not the units.

After googling, I came across these links. It looks like Fresno County EMS recently started dispatching for the Laton and Riverdale Volunteer Fire Departments.

I just obtained the Riverdale/Laton Fire frequencies the other day. I will list them in the database later this week.

Who dispatches Fresno County Fire Protection District? I dont see them listed in the database for Fresno County, only CAL-FIRE is listed. Does anyone know?

Fresno County Fire Protection District contracts with CAL FIRE for fire protection. Fresno County provides the engines, stations etc and CAL FIRE provides the firefighters and administration of the FCFPD. It can sometimes be confusing. It should probably be listed as CAL FIRE/Fresno County Fire Protection District.

I haven't seen anything for Riverdale but Laton freqs are listed here. I am going to assume Riverdale will use the same freqs but I don't know if that will be the case. The freqs show effective as of June.

Yeah it is ALOT confusing. I do hear them dispatching FCFPD on District 1 and 2. I ran across some other frequencies for FCFPD and have plugged them in. 154.280, 159.060 and 159.195. I will add the ones you listed but according to the documents listed, they only were dispatched to 112 calls for the year. I was determined to get to the bottom of this. LOL

154.280 is vfire-21 which is used for fire interoperability. The other freqs are the input freqs for district 1 and 2.

It could be Laton and Riverdale are dispatched on Med15 like you stated in the first post and the other freqs are tac channels. I don't what is happening.
