VHF propagation is picking up nicely in NE Texas this evening, so I'm focusing on some nice DX, hopefully up into UHF. At 00:00z 19:00 Central , station KWN32, 162.425, Gilmer TX and WXJ65, 162.450, Broken Bow OK (~96 and 170 miles away respectively) are booming in full scale. The BCD325P2 will be busy in search mode tonight.
Both SDS scanners are locked on my local county's simulcast, doing their usual job, may check Dallas sometime, probably the new Hunt County P25 system.
On the HF side, at 01:20z 20:20 local, WRMI 9455 kHz is 20 dB over 9 and WWCR 7520, 5935, and 4840 kHz all S5-7 on passive antennas. RNZI 17675 kHz audible with heavy fade on active loop.
Looking to be an active night across the spectrum here. What are you listening to or scanning for? I might try to do some AM DXing, inspired by a post in another thread.
