I decided to do a zip code search for Baltimore, DC, and Philly last night to see what I would receive. It turns out that I was able to pick-up a few more P25 systems than I thought I would be able to:
- Fairfax County
- District of Columbia
- Howard County
The zip code search wasn't as productive for Philly until I got a few hits on Bucks County. After listening to an EMS dispatch, it turns out that I was actually picking up Prince Georges County which led me to do a zip code search for that area as well and confirmed that hit on PG County. At this point though, I wonder if propagation from New Jersey is a challenge with the state radio tower that is 2 miles east from my house.
