Hi,

Just for information, Re my Post of a few days ago about "Marine Int'l" frequencies.

I pick up here in Sudbury Mass., about 25 miles due West of Boston harbor:

Ch 3 Mar Int'l 156.1500
Ch 2 160.7025
Ch 19 161.5500

Fairly clear and strong.
Scantenna antenna in attic

Talk is just too short in time to understand what they are saying, unfortunately.
Although one conv. was "you have my permission to..."

Think these are coming from shore or a vessel ?

Regards,
Bob

That far in-land, Shore Station most likely USCG

Try 161.6000 Mhz

I cant tell you right of the bat that 161.55 is a railroad frequency. It's AAR 96. 160.725 is also a RR freq. and the traffic you heard on 160.7025 could possible be bleed over.
