• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

[FONT=&quot]I'm posting this in the Colorado Forums because I saw more license plates from Colorado vs. Wyoming. I just wish they would come up with another idea for the show. Everyone views the T-Birds from the north through power lines... Not the best for taking pics

Heck no... I think the F-16 is one of the loudest jets..... =) Even the B-1 with FOUR burners lit wasn't that loud.

Well you know what they say. They make them loud and beautiful, because it's the last thing some people ever see and hear lol.

I was there today, 4th year for me going. It's true of what Erik said about the power lines, there is no way of getting around them when you watch from the campus.

Also really great pictures.

The red tag is there to protect certain parts of the aircraft that can be broken easy. They are also there for people in the ground to be aware of the parts, so they don't walk into them. Most of thoes flags say remove before flight, but it would not be the first time a fly boy got antsy and took off with on still on and wondered why his avionics where all red flagged.
