I think I am hearing P25 for the County Police, not alot of activity, there has to be more activity. I don't think I am trying to hear anything specific, just Fire, Police and whatever I can. The scanner is not silent anymore, but is spending time looking. I haven't heard much from the city Police at all.

Now that you are up and running, at least to some extent, you may want to go to the Maryland page of the forums. Create a post asking if there are any issues with the Baltimore system with regard to the x36 scanners.

Sometimes with local systems, there are certain nuances to be mindful of. So the best place for asking location specific information is the applicable state page.

(I'd be interested in following this as I have an upcoming trip to Baltimore and pland to bring a scanner along.)

Thanks for all your help, and those that have helped me get a better understanding and knowledge of my scanner. Now that I have a somewhat base of the info. and a good scanner, let's see what happens...thanks again.
