FORT COLLINS - Someone broke into a mobile home and stabbed two men Thursday morning, killing one of them.

The other victim was taken to Poudre Valley Hospital, according to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office.

The attack happened at 2025 North College #13 in Fort Collins around 4 a.m.

Officials say it appears the suspect broken into the mobile home through the front door before attacking the two men. Three females inside the home at the time were not injured. One of them called 911 from a neighboring home.

The sheriff's office is continuing to investigate the stabbing and is searching for the suspect. However they have not released a description of the suspect.

We have dispatchers all over the state that monitor 24/7, it's not just one lone person, also we feed the media so to speak so KUSA.com would probably not have covered that story as early if they had first not received the alert page first at 4am.

When I post stories such as this, as paged, we have already sent the incident to all members and media.
