Recent discussions on the local hamfest committee have included door prizes to be awarded. One of the radios selected was this one, the FT DX 3000. I had an opportunity for a trip down to the Plano TX HRO store yesterday. I sat down at the store demonstrator model to play with the radio and its features. I was duly impressed with the ability to notch out adjacent signals and improve readability of the desired signal. Whoever wins this at the Green Country Hamfest in early April will be a very happy ham indeed! I certainly plan to buy multiple tickets.
