FTIG is well within range for me to pick up helos, other aircraft & their range control comms. But after several weeks of monitoring published channels I have heard no comms that might be from FTIG, either 30-88 MHz FM or UHF AM.

From their web info page (Fort Indiantown Gap > Training > Ranges)

Aerial Gunnery
Range 23 Door is dedicated to air to ground live fire training on M-60D and AH-1 Helicopters using 7.62mm MG, 20mm TP, 30mm TP and 2.75” inert rocket.

Virtual training on aviation attack missions is available for pilots on the Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (AVCATT), please see the section on Virtual Training for more information.

Close Air Support
Joint Operations may be coordinated with the Pennsylvania Air National Guard for air to ground bombing within the impact area. Coordinate with FTIG Range Operations.

Virtual training on close air support is available on the Call for Fire Trainer (CFFT), please see the section on Virtual Training for more information.

Can someone give me the current channel lineup for FTIG? Or has everything gone over to P25? Thanks!

Jack

I don't know if this helps but I noticed that Page 6 of this document -- https://www.legis.state.pa.us/WU01/LI/TR/Transcripts/2020_0014_0001_TSTMNY.pdf -- says ----

" The Governor's Executive Budget 2020-2021 provides funding to upgrade the commonwealth's 800Mhz radio system to a hybrid VHF /800Mhz P25 trunked radio system, which will allow for enhanced interoperability between state, county, and federal agencies. The Fort Indiantown Gap Police and Fire Departments, DMV A Environmental/Training Divisions, Veterans Homes, and the PNG during SAD missions, will utilize these radios routinely for internal and external support coordination. "

They have 4 talkgroups listed in PA-STARNet P25: Pennsylvania Statewide Radio Network Trunking System, Statewide, Pennsylvania - Scanner Frequencies
