Anyone monitoring this system? Is the RR DB up to date? I picked up a TG #3011.

I think it's only a test group, its Fort Lee Fire Department on VHF simulcasted on the trunked system. The MDC1200 modulated in P25 in the background is a giveaway that it is a simulcasted channel.

Fort Lee just started testing automated dispatching on 4001. It's a computerized voice saying different random sentences

Those are not automatic dispatching, they are voice phrases used to test the intelligibility of voice over the air.

Althought the Harvard Sentences can be helpful in identifying QoS issues under quiecent conditions, this does nothing to gage performance during a controlled fireground evolution or a law enforcement "in the street" wind noise simulation. Hopefully Don will have the FD do some SCBA, PASS alarm, Partner saw, or pump panel tests, along with standing down-wind from a smoke ejector while saying the Harvard Sentences into an HT.

Fort Lee PD up and running

Fort Lee PD has been on TRS now for about 3 weeks. Not hearing any complaints. FD and EMS are up as well. FD and EMS patch to VHF. PD does not.
