Purchased a new FT5DR HT. Performed my initial power on and entered my callsign. Configured APRS, had it beaconing (confirmed seeing it on my FTM300). I offloaded my config to my SD card, edited it in ADMS and added a bunch of repeaters. Had a friend call me on Fusion and he mentioned that my call sign wasn't being transmitted. Confirmed this by having a self-chat between my FTM300 in the truck and my FT5D.
Does C4FM/Fusion use the call sign entered from the radio setup on the FT5D or is it elsewhere in the configuration?
I trolled all of the settings in ADMS and didn't see any areas where I was missing my call sign.
Has anyone else experienced this?

You can verify this by pressing F MENU and holding it for a second or two. At the bottom right you will see CALLSIGN. Mine displays my call and my first name. If those are missing you can enter them from the screen. I have had bad experiences with ADMS software and use RT Systems. Regardless of the software you can enter your callsign manually. After you enter your callsign press the BACK key or just press the PTT key to exit from the menu.

So my call sign was in there. Just to be thorough I deleted all the chars, changed it to TEST. Saved it. Powered off and back on and did a test tx. And it worked. So I changed it back to my call sign and rebooted and now it transmits my call sign. I blame ADMS 🤷
